7 Years ago I started this blog. I almost forgot. I thought I take one of my series, the one devoted to seatings in Metro Stations for which I’ve collected a couple of my own photo’s as a memory to these 7 years.
I’m kind of proud a Google search Berlin Chair by Rietveld results in a first place for a photo featured in a prior post.
Finally I’ve my own photo’s of the very chair. The Stedelijk in Amsterdam has one.
In addition there is one up for sale at Phillips today.
Estimate £12,000 – 18,000.
Curious what it’s result will be.
Upodate: Sold for £16,250
Hilda Longinotti has worked with George Nelsons for 21 years. Listen why she loves the Marshmellow Sofa.
An excellent story for our Chairchez La Femme series and found on the Herman Miller blog.
Was featured in the Groningen Museum earlier this year (and partly last year). I missed it, but one of my Flickr friends took this nice photo of the hot dog chair. Actually, according to an earlier post, the chair was designed by Jaime and his wife Nienke Klunder.
